Hey /all. I wanted to make some videos of LCS since the PS2 port was released but I didn't have a good capture solution and moved on. Then I saw a video of the PS3 Store version and decided to finally make the videos. The video of the PS3 version was in widescreen, which was great because I played the PS2 port on a 4:3 tv and I think the PS2's widescreen was just stretched.
So I got a PS3, and went to buy LCS. The PS2 port AND the PSP (+Vita) port were available! I assumed the PS2 version would be the only option. I bought the PS2 version, assuming widescreen would work. It didn't. When I switch to widescreen in the display options it stretches the image but it is still 4:3.
I should also mention that I am brand new to the PS Store and I just want some clarification before I drop $20 USD on the PSP version. Also, the widescreen preference is just an aesthetic choice.

TL;DR
Does the PSP version in the PS Store work on the PS3? I assume I wouldn't be able to buy it if it didn't but I just wanted to double check.
Is the PSP version in the PS Store widescreen and does it work without having to toggle widescreen via your display?
Does the PSP version in the PS Store have the 'drive on water' and 'better handling +R3 bunny hop' cheats and do they work? The cheats may be called something different.
Is there a way to make the PS2 port I already own widescreen, ex in the PS3's display settings? To reiterate, I tried via LCS display options but it didn't go widescreen, just stretched the image for it and stayed 4:3. I should mention that I am using an iMac as a display, so no tv image options. Any adjustments would have to be via the PS3.

EDIT: When I set up my PS3 the display settings include 480i, but not 480i 16:9. I don't see any way to switch it.
