Abort Obliteration
If the quotObliterate Cityquot button under quotGod Modequot was accidentally clicked anytime before the game screen starts flashing white press Esc The game will stop the obliteration sequence

An Easter egg in SimCity 4 puts snow on high elevations in cities Getting snow in SimCity 4 is actually very easy Change your computers system date to December 25 Your cities will be covered in snow for the day Of course its not practical to keep changing the date on your computer
Thanks to a mod you can download Simtropolis you can have snow all year long Visit Simtropolis in the Mod section for the Snowcapped Mountain Mod This mod adds snow at the top of mountains peaks all year long The Arctic Terrain Mod will also bring a winter feel to SimCity 4 Mods are modifications created by players and are not officially supported
Steps 2 reactivate God Mode in SimCity 4
To reenter God mode after you have created your City hold Ctrl Alt Shift and click the God Mode button The tools will not be the postestablishment tools but will revert back to precity tools They will remain that way as long as you stay in God mode otherwise they go back to normal
Steps 2 have quick money
Use the following trick to quickly accumulate money
1 Press Ctrl X
2 type weaknesspays
3 Hold Left Shift
4 Press Enter
5 Press Cursor Up
6 Press Enter
7 Repeat steps 5 and 6 you will get 1000 each time
Alternately press Ctrl X to display the console window Type weaknesspays but do not press Enter Highlight the word using the mouse then press Ctrl C to copy the text Press Enter then press Ctrl X to open the console window again Hold Ctrl and press V to paste the text then press Enter without releasing Ctrl Keep pressing V then Enter while holding Ctrl while the console window is still open to amass as much money as desired

Open up the quotNewsquot window and Reward Buildings Toolbar Build the reward building that you have chosen by clicking on it in the Rewards Building Toolbar Once built open up the news item concerning the chosen building Click quotAcceptquot and you will now be able to build another awards building Note This does not work on the Casino Military Base Missile Silo Federal Prison or Toxic Waste Dump
Extreme God mode tools
When in God mode select a tool and hold Shift while using it The tool will be magnified as if it were on the next higher magnification however on the highest the game normally allows it goes to extremes
Mega money Less work
1 make 3 cities make one of them with tons of water and the others with no water connect one with the water one and the other one to the one without water
2 develop all 3 of your cities untill they complain alot about water then connect water to your water city to your nonwater city then go crazy with pipes on city 2 then connect from city 2 to city 3 go crazy with pipes again
3 go to city 2 and buy water from city 1 then sell the water you bought to city 3 then buy and sell as much as you can
4 Cancel deal with buying from city 1 and go to the sell menu and click the most amout of water you can sell you now should be making money from 1000000 to billions
5 Optional if you want to get that profit for a while pause ur game then do the buy and sell trick then after you do that then suppy your city with tons of water you will get the money for a longer period of time
6 Optional you can connect city 2 to another city without water and do this trick for more money

Save money on traffic
Building highways is a heavy hitter on your budget and noisy as well If you place two roads side by side and connect every segment with streets roads have stoplights then you should be able to get traffic moving just as fast as on highways but much cheaper and quieter
