My Documents Folder Disappeared Windows 10
Read article:
I had this happen with a coworkers computer. We ordered him a new pc and set it up the day after it arrived. He was using his original pc, when he hit a safe spot she closed and shut everything down. I then disconnected the original PC and hooked up his new one. I then set up his old one at a empty desk so he could transfer his personal files over. Upon booting up one of his person folders were missing the and the other was missing file for the last 2 years.
We checked the recycling bin which he had not emptied in 6+ months and found 2 files that were once in the folder that is now missing. As for the rest I am running Recuva and Stellar Phoenix with the hope I can find the missing files.
the one that was partial missing was his time cards for the last 2 years while the previous 5 years of time cards were still in the folder. The other folder contained pictures, some private documents, and a few works file. There is not logical reason for the file to have vanished. I say him in the folder before he shut down, he did not delete the folder or sub folders. The pc was relocated, booted up and they are gone.
